Elliot's Dedication

Our pastor and good friend, Matt Hammett, dedicated Elliot at Flood while we were in San Diego. It was a special time, and we felt so supported by family and friends. Tim's parents were able to come out for it as well.

75 and Sunny...

We had a fabulous trip out to San Diego for Thanksgiving with Hol's side of the fam. Todd and his girlfriend, Maria, came down too. Lots of good laughs, frozen yogurt runs, and boys wrestling! Cole got to go to a SDSU football game with Grandpa and Daddy. We had an amazing, 9 course Thanksgiving dinner...Grandma really outdid herself! A big highlight of the trip was that, after multiple attempts by others to pull her tooth, Delaney ended up getting it out herself!! The kids also got to meet their new friend, Hunter Wildey! What a cutie!! I think he and Elliot will be buddies!

Elliot's Latest

Elliot has a passion for driving cars! We made the mistake of letting him sit in the front seat and pretend to drive, and now he asks incessantly to go in the "brmmm, brmmm". Not sure which parent he got that from! :)

He also just got his first haircut...maybe a total of 5 hairs! Cole was the photographer in this picture.

Good Laughs...

Cole is really starting to take on the big brother role with Elliot, which is fun to watch! He wanted to feed him his bottle tonight. They took a bath together and Cole was showing him how he washes himself. Elliot was trying to copy! Then they had a good squirting war, which Cole was obviously way more on top of! He got a kick out of squirting Elliot incessantly in the armpit! That got a good response. :)

Delaney got her hair cut today...about 2-3 inches! It looks so cute and she's really proud of it. Hopefully I'll get a picture up soon. She's busy practicing for her musical at church and really enjoying it! She got to come to a baby shower with me today, which she loved, and held a one month old baby. She said she wishes Elliot was still that little (when he was less wiggly, maybe?), and that she wanted to have another one...not happening. :)

E-Mack

Elliot is really starting to pick up on words and communicate more. Beyond his favorite, da-da, he says ssss (sis), ni-ni (night night), mo (more), mama, and we're working on Cole. :) He aggressively shakes his head "no" when he doesn't want something. We're not sure if he knows how to shake it yes, so the answer is never that reliable, but we'll take it. He can point out his nose, hair, ears, eyes (sometimes confused with ears...hey, cut him some slack!), toes, and teeth, which he proudly shows when asked...see pic. What a great age! We all get a good laugh out of him! He and Cole love to play hide and go seek...of course Cole is always the hider, and Elliot loves to seek, yelling out "ahhhh!" when he finds Cole.
