Helloooo Beach!

Well, sorry it's taken a little while to get settled, get pix uploaded, and finally update this blog! It's been a pretty crazy month, settling back into the house, starting school, getting back involved at Flood, Tim traveling, etc. It's good to be back, although we really miss many things about Minnesota! We miss Fall, and are watching the sweaters get dusty up on the shelves. The kids are doing well at school, and Cole is adjusting to being at school All DAY! They walk back and forth to school (1/2 mile each way) in a "walkpool" (see pic), which functions like a walking bus. Elliot misses the kids when they're gone....I don't think mom's all that much fun, to be honest! ;) (Good thing mom's writing this!!) We've already hit the beach multiple times. it's true, you don't know what you have 'til it's gone, so I think we appreciate it so much more now! Good to reconnect with friends, and are attempting to create community within our neighborhood, now that we've experienced that to it's fullest in MN! Involvement at Flood is ramping up, and that's been really fun. We found this awesome splash park right by our house, so in mid-January, we'll probably still be going there. :) Strange thought. I'll speak for myself, that I feel like I grew so much through our experience in Minnesota, and see many things so differently now. It's neat to come back with a different perspective and apply that to friendship/ministry/motherhood/life here. Guess that's all for now. Hopefully more soon!!
