Merry Christmas!!
Just a few shots of us around town...
Tim (Dad, Daddy, Honey, Timbo): still working at Life Technologies; ice hockey player, discipling younger guys with Flood, coffee connoisseur, t-ball coach, soccer coach (championship team!!), street hockey dad, amazing husband!
Hol (Mom, Hols, SugarMama): loving being a mom, keeping the calendar somewhat organized, caved and hired a cleaning lady to come (once!), temporarily Flood Kids' Pastor, tutor, Book Club junkie, spinning/weight class visitor, constantly pestered to get a dog, enjoying this stage of life!
Delaney (Digs, Sissy, Sis): almost 10 year old, 4th grader, equestrian, soccer star, animal lover, constantly pestering to get a dog, hip hop performer, babysitter, creative, responsible, sometimes fills in as 2nd mom, knitter, singer, peacemaker, absolute joy to be around, growing up way too fast!!
Cole (Co-co, Cokes, Col-E-Man): almost 8 year old, 2nd grader, tooth puller, mouse catcher, chef, soccer/basketball/baseball player, sugar monger, socialite, groovy dancer, snuggler, sensitive, high achiever, easygoing, inspiring to be around, makes you smile.
Elliot (Bubba, E-Mack, Bubs): 4 year old, preschooler, extremely entertaining, take charge, observer, football fanatic, soccer "hive participator", t-ball hopeful (this Spring), artist, "quote of the day" kid, brings lots of laughs to the household.
It's been a great year for us! We're so enjoying the ages of the kids, and continue to marvel at their differences. We feel like God has truly blessed us, and we are striving to be faithful with what He's given.
Much love from our family,

Back in the swing.
This is our first season with all three in sports!! The soccer season opener was yesterday...three games, not necessarily back to back...we all came home sun burned and exhausted! Tim's coaching Delaney's team. I was asking Tim why we were so tired since we didn't even do any running! :) Delaney's team did great and won, Cole got the defensive award for his game, and Elliot's just glad to be in a uniform and have people watching HIM! We got to watch Tim play in a soccer match with his department at work last week, which was really fun! He did great, until the pulled groin! :) Not as young as we think we are, I guess.
All the boys took a fun trip up to see Uncle Todd and hit the car show! They had so much fun!! The girls had a wonderful weekend at home doing "girly stuff", like taking a hip hop class, sewing, chatting at Starbucks, and watching a chick flick. We're still arguing about who had a better time!
I took a part-time job that Flood offered me to cover our kids' pastor's maternity leave for Oct-Dec. I'm really excited about it! I'll be working about 25 hours/week, so it'll be a big change for us.
We've got Elliot's tonsillectomy scheduled for Tuesday Sept 14, so we're hoping to get that over with. He's been coughing for almost 3 weeks, so we're crossing our fingers it doesn't get postponed again.
I guess that's the latest! The kids continue to bring lots of laughter, and we're appreciating these older stages. We recently celebrated Elliot riding a 2 wheel bike, wiping himself (after mom and dad wiping butts for 9 years!), and no more car seats!! Guess we've moved on to the next stage!
Much love, and we hope you all are well! Keep in touch!

Sum Sum Summertime!!
Cole's doing a little basketball camp this summer, and Delaney's continuing her horseback riding! Elliot's in full swing with swim lessons and doing great! A little venture to Minnesota, and Flood's sports camp, and we're hanging out here!
We loved having our Westmont Weekend again this year here at our house! 22 peeps at the house in all! Tim and I got to enjoy a weekend away at the Flood marriage retreat, and we're looking forward to Uncle Todd coming for a visit!
The kids are great! We're thinking a tonsillectomy to end Elliot's periodic fever syndrome that he gets every month. Lots of wiggly teeth around here!! Loving life!

Let the games begin...
Delaney and Hols were able to take a little jaunt up to San Francisco to visit Uncle Todd! Fun memories!!
Tim converted the office to a knee hockey arena, which the boys LOVE!!
Holly hosted her first "Swap-n-Shop" with a bunch of friends!! The house was buzzing with lots of free goods, and a whole lot of chatting!
Life is good. We feel really blessed by how God has provided for us, and by the joy the kids bring each day!

February already?! CRAZY!!
We had a wonderful trip to MN for Christmas, and no one got sick, which is a miracle for the Anderson family!! :) The kids loved seeing and hanging out with all the cousins and friends there! It snowed A TON while we were there, which was so fun for playing in!
Delaney and Cole had "Decade Day" at school. Cole (with his new haircut!) went for 50's, and Delaney went 80's, which wasn't hard to find around here! The rain here in January was CRAZY! The variety was actually nice though!
Cole's loving basketball and gearing up for baseball. Digs is about to start horseback riding lessons that she got for her birthday! She also got her ears pierced, and had a luxurious spa party here at the house for her birthday this year! The girls all had so much fun!
Elliot's still loving trains and trolleys, and hanging out with mom! I'm hoping that continues the rest of his life!! After many tests and dr. visits, it looks like we may be pursuing having his tonsils out. The dr's are thinking he may have something called "Periodic Fever Syndrome", which means he gets a fever about every 28 days! A tonsillectomy may help...we'll see.
Tim and Hol...business as usual.

Merry Christmas 2009!!
We were lucky enough to be able to take a few, short trips. (Thanks to Grandpa working for Marriott!!) We also had some dear friends (and relatives!) make their way to visit our house too, which was wonderful!
The kids are such a fun energy around the house, and we're so enjoying their ages and very different personalities! They keep us laughing with the funny things they say!
Delaney ("sissy, sis, Digs, Diggy"): 3rd grader, soccer player, hip hop dancer, art lover, math whiz, awesome big sister, helper extraordinaire, almost 9. "Mom, watch this!"
Cole ("Co-Co, Cocaloosh, Bunda"): 1st grader, basketball and baseball player, reading whiz, boogie board master, looked up to by Elliot, play date master, missing his two front teeth, almost 7. "Can I have someone over to play?"
Elliot ("Bubba, Bubs, Buddy"): preschooler, all sports player (currently football with Cole and Dad), train and trolley fanatic, makes up for other kids being at school by talking, 3 years old. "Can we go see the trolley show?" (which consists of sitting at the trolley stop watching it come and go.)
Tim ("Dad, Daddy, Honey"): working extremely hard at Life Technologies, enjoying time with family, (with his brother's help...) organizing Malawi coffee sales at Flood, looking forward to visit to MN.
Holly ("Hols, Mom, Mama"): enjoying managing the kid activities, tutoring part-time, running Momspace (mom's ministry at Flood), room mom, enjoying the beach again.
We hope this finds you all well. Thank you for being part of our extended family. Whether we see you often or rarely, we still value your friendships. May God continue to teach us all how to better worship Him!
Much love,
The Anderson Five
